Cropping & Size Guide Be sure to select a size or height/width ratio that matches the photo. For example if you have a vertical subject in a vertical orientation, an 8"x12" print will compliment it better than a more square 8"x10".
All proof images you are viewing and the original master photos have a 1-to-1.5 height-to-width ratio and the same shape as a 4"x6" print. For this reason the following sizes tend to crop more out of the photo due to their more square nature: 5"x7", 8"x10" and 16"x20". If you like the existing crop or format of the proof photo, then it is best to stick with the more rectangular prints.
Please contact us if you have any problems selecting a size for a particular photo. You might also consider what standard sizes are offered in frames, if you are not doing a custom framing job.
